A new study carried out by the platform Security Gauge reveals which American cities are the most dangerous, reports Daily Mail.

By analyzing violent crimes such as murder, rape, armed robbery and aggravated assault across the country, the platform was able to establish that it is Bessemer, Alabama, which takes the very unenvious title “the most dangerous city” in the United States.
To obtain these results, Security Gauge looked at data from nearly 18,000 police departments serving municipalities with at least 25,000 residents.
In Bessemer, there are 33.18 violent crimes reported per 1,000 residents. Physical violence, property crimes and vehicle thefts have seen a significant increase recently in the Alabama city.
