The minutes, days and hours pass, little by little the agreed date for the fourth edition of the Tour Colombia is approaching and with it the details of it are becoming clearer. There will be 26 teams participating in this 2.1 race along the coffee routes.

The race, considered the most prominent event on the Colombian calendar, will feature the participation of three World Tour teams and two professional teams. In addition, 19 continental teams will join, confirmation of two European and one from Oceania is expected. Finally, the list is completed by two national teams.

The six-day tour will depart from Paipa and culminate in Bogotá, offering challenges to cyclists in mountainous and high-altitude terrain, conducive to climbers. Traditionally, the competition has been favorable to local interests, Egan Bernal, Miguel Ángel López and Sergio Higuita have shone in previous editions. It is expected that international runners like Mark Cavendish will excel in Colombian lands.

With a total of 26 teams and 156 cyclists, the Tour Colombia 2.1 promises to be an exciting competition, bringing together outstanding squads from different categories and nations.
