Although the Eurovision final is almost three months away (13.5 London time), the hype machine of Khan 11 and Noa Kirel is already in high gear: “Unicorn”, the song chosen to represent Israel in the competition, will be revealed in no less than a special broadcasting day dedicated to the event in three Shavuot (Wednesday, 8.3) and will also include the Kaan Gimel radio station and all Kaan Digital platforms.
The megalomaniacal event will reach its peak in the late evening with the unveiling of the song live from the music festival at the Dan Eilat Hotel, during a live performance by Kirel. The special broadcast will be hosted by Maya Wertheimer, one of the stars of Kaan 11’s new series, “Destroying Angel”, which will be broadcast starting on March 26, 2023. Throughout the day of the broadcasts, festive broadcasts will be held that will also include glimpses of the various current affairs programs on radio and television and a special docu-film, “Noa’s Way” Kirel for Eurovision”, which documents Noa’s path from her childhood, through the career she built, the big break, the preparations for the show in Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, and up to her decision to participate in Eurovision.
Simultaneously with the broadcast of the film on Khan 11, a special one-hour interview will be broadcast on Khan Gimel in which Noa will be invited to have a one-on-one conversation with Maya Alcolombre. Immediately after the end of the film, the music video for the song “Unicorn” will be revealed, in a world premiere screening, followed immediately by a special broadcast live with Maya Rachlin, in which the writers of the song will be guests – Mai Spadia, Yinon Yahel and Doron Medley, and will include interviews with her family members, with Eurovision experts from around the world and hacks More to Eilat.
And if for the unveiling of the song they dedicate a special broadcast day in a segment that is not exaggerated at all, what will they do here 11 in honor of the Eurovision itself? A special broadcasting week? Of course. The first semi-final with Kirel’s participation will be broadcast on 9.5, the second semi-final will be broadcast two days later, and the final itself will be broadcast on 13.5, when among the broadcasters of the competition you can assume that they will eat your brains 24/7 about the chances of the Israeli pop princess to bring home the trophy, an event which will surely be accompanied by a special broadcasting year. Success for all of us. But especially for Noa Kirel, actually.
