Norway’s men’s national team drew Austria, Slovenia and Kazakhstan as opponents during Thursday’s Nations League draw in Paris.

Now the matches are scheduled by Uefa. On 6 September, Norway plays its first match in Kazakhstan, before Austria comes to Ullevaal Stadium three days later.

Here is the match schedule:

6 September: Kazakhstan – Norway (16.00)

9 September: Norway – Austria (8.45pm)

10 October: Norway – Slovenia (8.45pm)

13 October: Austria – Norway (8.45pm)

14 November: Slovenia – Norway (8.45pm)

17 November: Norway – Kazakhstan (6.00 p.m.)

Norway is ranked at level B, which is the second highest level in the Nations League. The toughest possible opponent in Thursday’s draw was England, who were relegated from Group A in the 2022 tournament.

The Nations League could be the back way into the WC 2026 if Norway does not qualify directly for the championships in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Spain won the previous edition of the Nations League in 2023. The regular World Cup qualifiers start in 2025.
