This Tuesday night (14) ended in an unexpected way for Glaucineide Oliveira, 51 years old. The saleswoman suffered an attempted robbery after hours, while waiting for the rain to subside, in front of the store where she works, in the Jardim Noroeste neighborhood. The scene would have been another moment of tension suffered by a woman if Victor, the “hero dog” and faithful friend of Glaucineide, had not jumped on the assailant’s back and prevented the man from carrying out the act.

On the phone she explained how the scene happened and who is the dog that helped her in the delicate moment. According to the report, the saleswoman was alone at the door of the store when a man appeared, approached and pushed her against the wall.

Frightened, the woman screamed for help and was surprised by the appearance and attitude of Victor, who attacked the suspect to defend her. “He growled in a different way, the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up, he even looked like a Pitbull”.

The assailant even tried to kick the animal, but was again surprised by the dog’s reinvestment. “The guy went to kick him and Victor advanced. The man ran away. Victor stayed by my side until the neighbor showed up, he was pretty nervous,” he added.

The stray dog appeared at the store a little less than a month ago, but it was enough for Glaucineide to get affection for the animal. She comments that she leaves food, water and a box for him at the entrance to the establishment. The saleswoman points out that Victor’s presence is already routine and she already considers him a “punctual employee”.

Unable to take him home, and in love with animals, the woman, who has already received the nickname “Maria Cachorreira”, does what she can to take care of her four-legged friend and regrets not being able to adopt Victor.

“I can’t take it because I already have three at home and the main thing, where I live, people don’t accept another animal. I love animals, they’ve called me mary doggie, I don’t care anymore. I always feed them on the street”, he said.

Love to animals – The love for dogs was born after the daughter got one when she was still small. The animal lived with the family for four years and died due to the progression of leishmaniasis. “I did everything and I couldn’t save. Then I picked up another dog on the road, in innocence, I went into the bush, it came out all cut up but it’s there with me. I gave the name of where I found her.” According to the woman, the other two dogs were donated by family members.

Adoption – In love with Victor, Glaucineide wants to find people who love the dog as much as she does and take good care of her friend. She highlighted that she has been treating the animal’s scabies and also took care of the ticks. “He is handsome for adoption. Because it’s no use for me to stay with him during the day and at the time he most needs to leave him here in a vulnerable box”

Those wishing to adopt the animal can contact Glaucineide at the number (62) 9 9163-6542.
