Hero Splendor Plus XTEC debuted in India with full digital meter and Bluetooth connectivity .. How much is the price!

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new variant of its popular Splendor Plus commuter motorcycle, the Splendor Plus XTEC in India. The Hero Splendor Plus XTEC is currently being launched to compete with the Bajaj Platina, TVS Radeon and Honda CD 110 Deluxe.

Hero MotoCorp launched its new Splendor + XTEC bike in India on May 19 with a starting price of Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new Splendor + XTEC bike comes with a 5 year warranty. Also available in four new color options including Canvas Black, Sparkling Beta Blue, Pearl White and Tornado Gray.

Hero MotoCorp’s brand new Hero Splendor + XTEC bike features an LED High Intensity Position Lamp (HIPL), LED strip on the front and new graphics. The new Splendor + XTEC bike also features a side-stand engine cut-off and side-stand visual indication for the safety of the rider and rear rider.

This bike also has a bank-angle-sensor feature. Is the vehicle sensor that detects the viewing angle from the front. This determines the maximum slope at which the bike can be safely tilted. The engine will cut-off when the bike tilts.

The biggest talk of the new Splendor Plus XTEC is the first-full digital meter with Bluetooth connection. It offers customers features including Incoming & Missed Call Alerts, Real-Time Fuel Efficiency Indicator, Two Trip Meters, Low Fuel Efficiency Indicator. The bike also comes with an integrated USB port. This newly introduced XTEC variant is mechanically similar to the Standard Splendor Plus bike.

It is powered by a 7.9hp, 8.05Nm, 97.2cc, single cylinder engine and comes with a 4-speed gearbox and Hero’s i3s auto start / stop technology. The bike is powered by i3S (I3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology with the aim of delivering better fuel efficiency.

Like the engine, the hardware of this new bike is similar to the standard Splendor Plus. Its suspension tasks are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear springs. Drum brakes are fitted on both its wheels. Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy and Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp, said that the Splendor + XTEC model has been launched in India with technologically advanced features and a smart modern design.
