Hero MotoCorp is all set to enter the electric vehicle market on October 7. The first electric scooter under the Vida brand will be launched in the Indian market on October 7. Earlier this scooter was supposed to be launched on July 1st, but suddenly its launch date has been changed.
The launch of the scooter was delayed due to a chipset defect. Currently, the launch of this scooter is scheduled to take place in the first week of October. Last year, pictures of this scooter appeared on the internet. The new electric scooter is expected to have amazing styling and excellent performance.
It is said that the Vida brand may have decided to launch the new scooter in the affordable segment instead of launching it in the premium segment. In that way, it seems that this scooter will reach the Hero sales centers after its launch. It is also said that initially this scooter will be sold in selected cities only.
Details of Hero’s new electric scooter remain a mystery. However, in the Indian electric two-wheeler segment, the Vida electric scooter model is expected to compete with the likes of the Bajaj Setak and the TVS iCube.
