With the help of the dog, specifically, a 77-year-old swimmer who was unconscious and had swallowed a significant amount of water was saved from drowning.
The dog that saved the elderly man is a shepherd named “Nala,” the only one in our country that has received special training abroad to rescue people from drowning, according to Lamiareport.
After the 77-year-old was rescued, he was transferred to the hospital in Lamia and is hospitalized out of danger.
