jpnn.comJAKARTA – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has started a trial program to provide free nutritious food for students in the Jakarta area.
Funding for the program comes from operational funds of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono.
The General Chairperson of the Indonesian Youth Love for the Country (PITA) Ervan Purwanto expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by Heru.
According to him, the policy is a real example of sacrifice and a solution that provides direct benefits to the community.
“This is a solution-oriented policy and is a form of sacrifice for a policy whose benefits are directly felt by the community,” said Ervan in his statement, Monday (19/8).
Ervan added that the effort demonstrated the real commitment of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to ensure that children in Jakarta receive healthy food that is good for their growth and motor skills.
He emphasized the importance of preparing quality and healthy human resources to welcome Golden Indonesia 2045.
Furthermore, Ervan hopes that the mayors and regents in Jakarta can emulate the policies taken by Heru.
