Recently, Israel claimed to have killed a Hezbollah leader with a air strike. The retaliation took place at the Israeli Army headquarters in Safedwhich is in the north of the country.

The city where the attacked base is located is 14 kilometers away from the border between Israel and Lebanon. According to authorities, the attack did not cause victims or damage to the local infrastructure.
