Hezbollah Leader Threatens Israel: “You Too Will Return to the Stone Age”

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah issued a warning to Israel during a speech on Monday, stating that if Israel goes to war with Lebanon, they will also face disastrous consequences. Nasrallah emphasized that “everyone who observes Israel’s situation clearly sees its deterioration, the Israeli army is in the worst condition compared to any period in the past.”

The threat came amidst a visit by senior Iranian officials near the Lebanese border, who met with Nasrallah. This visit raised concerns about the security situation in the region, prompting warnings against insufficient protection in the North.

Nasrallah responded to Israeli Defense Minister Gallant’s remarks during his visit to the Lebanese border, saying, “The enemy’s minister of war is threatening to return Lebanon to the Stone Age, and this is nothing new, but what they need to understand is what Lebanon and its resistance can do to the enemy entity.” He further added, “The enemy must know that he is playing a game of existence and destruction, and your threats do not scare us. Today, Lebanon has the ability to achieve security and safety against the enemy.”

The Hezbollah leader went on to issue a direct threat, specifying the targets that would be vulnerable if the conflict escalates. He stated, “If the battle develops into the axis of resistance, then there will be no such thing as ‘Israel.’ All civilian and military airports, air force bases, electricity and water generating stations, central communication centers, infrastructure, oil refineries, and the Dimona reactor, the enemy must account for how many accurate missiles does the resistance need to hit all these targets. I say to the enemy leaders, you too will return to the Stone Age if you go to war with Lebanon.”

Nasrallah also highlighted the current weakness of the Israeli army, claiming that after the political divisions in Israel, their military is in its worst condition compared to any previous period. He further threatened that the strongest blow to the Israeli army would be if the Knesset approves the new conscription law.

The tense situation on the Lebanese border has been escalating, with both sides exchanging threats. During his visit to the border last week, the Israeli Minister of Defense warned Nasrallah, stating, “If, God forbid, an escalation or conflict develops here, we will return Lebanon to the Stone Age. We will not hesitate to use all our power and wear down every inch of Hezbollah and Lebanon if we have to. Make no mistakes, we don’t want war, but we are ready to protect our citizens, our soldiers, and our sovereignty.”

The threat of warfare between Israel and Lebanon continues to intensify, with both sides making strong statements. The international community remains concerned about the potential for further escalation and the impact it could have on regional stability.
