Armed forces of the Shiite Hezbollah party launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the northern military district of the Israeli army, which is located in the city of Safed (Safed) 20 km from the border with Lebanon.

As Day.Az reports with reference to TASS, this is stated in a statement by the Hezbollah military information service, broadcast by Al Manar TV channel. It reports that kamikaze drones were also used in the attack, but no information is provided on their number.

“Our fighters carried out eight operations against enemy forces, during one of which a missile strike was carried out on the headquarters of the northern military district in the city of Safed,” the text of the statement notes. “As a result of a direct hit, there were killed and wounded in the enemy’s ranks.”

There has not yet been any confirmation from the Israeli military command about the Hezbollah attack, but Kan radio, citing the Magen David Adom (Red Shield of David) ambulance service, reported that one soldier and another were killed as a result of rocket fire in Safed seven people were injured. Three of them were taken to hospital in serious condition.
