A gathering with many participants at prepared tables was held at the main Chabad synagogue in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. This is the first event at the synagogue since it was renovated.
An important member of the committee who enlivened the atmosphere was the important guest from Toronto Yitzhak Reznik, who enthralled the audience with Hassidic animals.
The hospitality was tastefully organized by the messengers Rabbi Shmuel and Khaya Zalmanov.
The book “Alter Reaba” written in Russian by the founding emissary of Chabad in Moldova, Rabbi Zalman Abelsky, is distributed to the participants.
The event was covered by the local television, when interviewers did not hide their admiration.
On the last Purim holiday, they came to survey the refugees in the synagogue compound, the building was only a skeleton and now events are held there.
Chabad Moldova is preparing for the participation of a large crowd in the prayers of the terrible days following the renovation of the synagogue.
