The government of Hidalgoheaded by Julio Menchaca Salazarreaffirms its commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and businessmen, promoting the economic growth and the well-being of all sectors, while highlighting the potential and quality of the local products.
In this regard, the Expo Proveeduría de Productos Hidalguenses 2024 was successfully held, with the participation of 80 exhibitors, who had the opportunity to present their offer to important companies and buyers.

The objective of this event was to link the tourism and restaurant sectors with potential local suppliers, to strengthen their productive capacities, while promoting local consumption.
Carlos Henkel Escorza, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco) of Hidalgo, highlighted the importance of organizing this type of activities for the development of the region.
He stressed that it is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and businessmen to showcase the quality and diversity of their products, establish strategic alliances and access new markets.
Among the wide range of products on display were food, beverages, textiles and handicrafts. In addition, as part of the activities, business roundtables were held to establish commercial relations and promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
The Expo also featured a conference entitled “Economic Overview” given by a specialist from Banco Santander. Representatives from the financial sector also provided support and shared their knowledge with exhibitors and attendees.
