Police have launched an investigation to find those who uploaded the video. A few weeks ago Mathrubhumi News brought to light the incident of a hidden camera being used to trap suitors at Overbury’s Folly Park in Thalassery.
Scenes of the suitors getting close in the park are circulating. These videos are circulating in different categories on various paid porn sites. Three men were previously arrested for secretly filming in Overbury’s Folly Park. They were later released on bail.
The police had earlier discovered that the accused had created a gap in the security wall of the park and installed a mobile camera to film the scene. The scenes of many people who showed love in the park were recorded on the hidden camera. If you get into an empty space in the park, no one can see you from outside. The scene was filmed by the accused who realized that the suitors were coming here. The incident came to light when they later handed it over to many people and the police registered a case.
Meanwhile, further investigation is needed to find out through which IP address these videos reached the porn sites. Local police have limitations in this regard. Therefore, the police is proposing a detailed investigation into the incident.
Most porn sites are hosted in foreign countries. Therefore, cyber security expert N said that the investigation of the case will not be under the control of the state police only and communication with the center will be required. Vinayakumaran Nair responded to Mathrubhumi News.
