Saida Muna Tasnim, High Commissioner of Bangladesh posted in UK, is being returned to Dhaka.
On Sunday (September 29), the Administration Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an office order asked High Commissioner Saida Muna to return to Dhaka immediately.
According to an office order of the Ministry, it has been decided to transfer you (Saida Muna Tasnim) to the Headquarters, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. You are requested to leave your current post at Bangladesh High Commission London and return to Dhaka immediately.
Saida Muna Tasnim has been serving as Bangladesh High Commissioner in London since November 30, 2018. The tenure of this diplomat is scheduled to end in December this year.
Tasnim is an 11th batch officer of Bangladesh Foreign Service. He served as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand. Prior to this, he served in various positions at Bangladesh Permanent Mission in New York and Bangladesh High Commission in London. He also served as director general of several departments in the ministry.
