by time news

ISLAMABAD: The Balochistan court has issued an interim stay on the arrest warrant against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party leader Imran Khan served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018. At that time, Imran Khan was accused of buying cheap gifts and selling them illegally from Toshakana, the Pakistani government treasury that protects the expensive gifts given by the leaders of the country.

In this regard, Imran Khan is not present in person at the hearing of the case in the Islamabad District Sessions Court. A judicial court in Quetta issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Imran Khan in this matter. Against this, a petition was filed in the Balochistan High Court seeking cancellation of the non-bailable arrest warrant against Imran Khan. A judge of the Balochistan High Court heard the petition and adjourned the hearing for two weeks by imposing an interim stay on the arrest warrant against Imran Khan.
