High incidence: Melk are threatened with exit tests

by time news

What already applies in three Salzburg municipalities, Annaberg-Lungötz, St. Koloman and Adnet, now also threatens the Melk district: exit restrictions.

In the three municipalities in Tennengau, only those who have been vaccinated, recovered or tested – only PCR tests, not older than 72 hours – are allowed to leave the country. In addition, the authorities there are increasingly monitoring the quarantine regulations.

Now an entire district could soon be covered with the tightened measure.

As of October 19, Melk had the highest 7-day incidence in Austria. Based on the past seven days, there were 574.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The numbers are alarming not only in Melk, but also in the Scheibbs district. The 7 day incidence there: 526.9.
