High level Chinese delegation met Mahinda Rajapaksa

Chinese Vice Minister Chen Zhou met former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday.

During the meeting he reaffirmed China’s commitment to building strong and dynamic bilateral relations with Sri Lanka.

Chen, Vice Minister of International Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is leading the Communist Party of China (CPC) High Level Committee to Sri Lanka.

The high-level delegation’s visit is the first official visit by the Chinese Communist Party since its 20th National Congress last October.
