The spokesman said that 37 mm of rain was recorded in Multan, 67 in Khanewal, 79 in Rahim Yar Khan, 57 in Dera Ghazi Khan, 26 in Bahawalpur, 14 in Bhakkar, 12 in Jhelum, 8 mm in Joharabad.
More rains have been predicted in most districts of Punjab in the next 24 hours.
DG PDMA has directed the Deputy Commissioners across the province to be alert and said that the monsoon rains are expected to continue till August 20.
The spokesperson of PDMA says that due to monsoon rains, there are fears of flooding in the rivers and canals of Punjab, while the low-level flood situation remains in the Indus River.
