The Secretariat of Innovation moved to the department of Sonsonate, to proceed with the authorization of free high-speed satellite internet access in the Rafael Campos park.
“Thank you for joining us on this day and for allowing us to come to Sonsonate to be able to bring connectivity to the Conectando El Salvador project,” said the Secretary of Innovation, Daniel Méndez.
According to the head of Innovation in this municipal park, they are going to leave a high-capacity Starlink equipment connected, with repeaters, which will allow up to 500 devices to be connected simultaneously.
“The students who are now with us will be able to come to this park with their tablets or computers to do their homework at any free time. Starlink allows us satellite connectivity regardless of weather conditions, there will always be a connection in this park,” said the official.
