Minister Alpha Bacar Barry also highlighted several ongoing reforms in the university system. He notably mentioned the need to set up a monitoring commission to monitor and anticipate small dysfunctions that may arise, both within universities and at the level of the firm or research centers. This commission will be essential to ensure effective responsiveness to current problems.

Furthermore, the minister announced the imminent arrival of new teacher-researchers, holders of doctorates (𝐏𝐡𝐃), to strengthen the academic staff of Guinean universities. These new recruits will be welcomed and integrated into the system this weekend in order to prepare for the next academic year. He insisted on the importance of monitoring and supervising their integration so that they can fully contribute to the quality of teaching.

Another notable announcement concerned the relaunch of the campus tour, an initiative allowing the minister and his team to visit the different universities to inaugurate new infrastructure and exchange with management teams. This tour is planned to start on Wednesday, with an objective of reframing and readjusting the orientations according to the needs observed on the ground.
