Thrissur: The owners of the online network marketing company ‘Hyrich’ left the premises just before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials arrived for the raid. The MD of the company, who are natives of Thrissur Cherp, is K.D. Prathapan, his wife and company CEO Sreena Prathapan and driver Sharan were drowned. The ED officials reached their house in Thrissur around 10.30 am today.

They entered the vehicle just before the officers reached the house. The ED officials sought the help of the police to find the trio. Meanwhile, the owners have drowned from the house, but the ED’s investigation is continuing here. Officials have tried many ways to contact them but to no avail.

The complaint against them is that they smuggled 100 crore rupees abroad through hawala. Former Vadakancherry MLA and Congress leader Anil Akkara filed a case against them. They collected crores of rupees from one and a half lakh people. On the complaint of those who lost money, a case was registered as per the court instructions.

It was reported that this Thrissur-based company had committed a fraud of more than 1600 crore rupees. According to the police report, it is a money chain fraud which was done under the guise of online shopping. The Income Tax Department is also investigating the GST fraud of Rs 126 crore.

Meanwhile, it is reported that they escaped after the information about the raid was leaked. Former MLA Anil Akkara alleged that the raid information was leaked to them by Cherp police. “The real culprit is the police. The relationship with the Cherp Police is such that it can be said that they have a partnership.” – said Anil Akkara.
