The Australian hard rock legends AC/DC are going on a European tour again this year and will play at the Hanover exhibition center at the end of July. The band and concert organizer announced this on Monday.

AC/DC themselves had already published teasers on their social media channels – now the official confirmation for the European tour is here. The band around 68-year-old guitarist and founder Angus Young wants to perform on their “Power Up” tour between May and August in Gelsenkirchen, Munich, Dresden, Hockenheim, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Hanover. There are also dates in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France and Ireland. It is the band’s first European tour in eight years.

Advance ticket sales for AC/DC start on Friday

According to the agencies eventim and Hannover Concerts, July 31st is set for Hanover. Advance ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Friday, February 16th at 11 a.m.

2023 stage comeback after a seven-year break

Last year, the rock icons made their stage comeback at a festival in the USA after a seven-year break. Rumors about a tour had been going on for a long time. Last week, AC/DC fueled speculation with a countdown on their website.

In addition to guitarist Angus Young and long-time singer Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, who followed band founder Malcolm Young, who fell ill in 2014 and died in 2017, will be on tour. New to the band are former Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney and drummer Matt Laug, who performed with AC/DC at the “Power Trip” festival last year.
