London: British Airways has changed its uniform for the first time in 20 years. Female cabin crew members can now wear jumpsuits. British Airways responded that it was the first airline to make jumpsuits the uniform of cabin crew members. Female cabin crew members may also wear hijab.

British Airways is changing its clothes after five years of work led by British fashion designer Oswald Boateng. These activities were delayed by two years due to covid. Men will be dressed in suits. Women can also use a skirt or trousers instead of a jumpsuit.

About 30,000 employees in the company will change to the new uniform before the summer. The uniform represents our brand, British Airways Chairman CEO Sean Doyle said. The uniform will lead us into the future. British Airways has also announced that it will recycle or donate the old ones when changing to new uniforms.
