jpnn.comJAKARTA – The use of a private jet by Jokowi’s youngest son has been widely discussed. Kaesang Pangarep visited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building to clarify the incident on Tuesday (17/9).
The General Chairperson of PP Hikmahbudhi Candra Aditiya gave his appreciation to the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).
“We need to appreciate Kaesang’s brave attitude because it provides a positive example for people who are still avoiding KPK summons or are still fugitives from the KPK,” said Candra to reporters, Thursday (20/9).
He also hopes that Kaesang’s clarification will be answered immediately by the KPK so that this issue does not continue to drag on and become a public debate.
Candra reminded that there are still many state issues that must be resolved before the transition of Indonesia’s leadership.
“Don’t let the issue of Kaesang riding a private jet become a distraction from the strategic issues that we should be discussing, after all, Kaesang is not actually a public official,” he stressed. (dil/jpnn)
