Hilary Duff Shares Sonogram as She Gushes Over Fourth Pregnancy
Hilary Duff is head-over-heels in love with her fourth child, even before the baby arrives. The 36-year-old actress, who is expecting a child with husband Matthew Koma, took to Instagram on Friday to share a sonogram from her pregnancy. The couple already shares daughters Mae, five, and Banks, two, and Hilary co-parents son Luca, 11, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
In the black-and-white sonogram, Duff lovingly referred to her unborn child as a “little stinker with a cute nose.” The joyous news of her pregnancy was first announced in a family Christmas card that she posted to Instagram with the caption, “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch.”
Matthew Koma also shared the news on his social media, humorously tagging the location as “Vasectomy Clinic.” In another photo, Hilary proudly flaunts her growing belly, jokingly writing, “Been trying to hide this thing for a minute.” Months before the pregnancy reveal, Hilary hinted about welcoming more family members, stating in an interview with Shape magazine, “I’m in my family making phase. I built this and I wanted this and so I have to be here to enjoy the joyful and the painful and everything in between.”
The announcement comes around this time last year when Hilary was mourning the loss of Aaron Carter, who passed away at age 34. She paid tribute to her former flame on Instagram, expressing her deep sorrow for the struggles he faced in front of the world. Hilary and Aaron had an on-again/off-again relationship as teenagers in the early 2000s before officially splitting in 2003.
Amid the excitement of her fourth pregnancy, Hilary is clearly reveling in the joy of expanding her family and welcoming a new bundle of love.
