Berlin: Indian player Lakshya Sen failed to pass the first round of the Hilo Open tournament. World Championship bronze medalist and Commonwealth champion Lakshya lost 12-21 5-21 to Hong Kong’s Ng Ka Long. The game ended in 27 minutes, which the Indian played throughout.

Kidambi Srikanth, Sameer Verma, HS Prannoy, Saina Nehwal, Malavika Bansod and the doubles duo of Satwik Sai Raj and Chirag Shetty are participating.
