New Delhi: A parliamentary committee has recommended that Hindi and regional language education should be provided in all technical and non-technical higher education institutions, including the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

The Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, submitted its 11th report to President Drabupati Murmu last month. The President will decide whether to accept these recommendations.

The committee consists of 20 Lok Sabha MPs and 10 Rajya Sabha MPs. Regarding the recommendations made by the committee, its vice-chairman, Biju Janata Dal M.P.
