Due to the fact that the seizures of cars continue by elements of the National Guard that are found at the international bridges of this border, the local Revenue Collector recommended that their owners hire the services of a lawyer.
Miguel García Figueroa explained that, when opening an administrative procedure, the intervention of an expert in tax matters is necessary.
He said that people have no longer come to his office, complaining that their vehicle was taken from them when they returned to Mexico after visiting the neighboring country, but he accepted that he knows of recent cases where it has happened.
He explained that these are issues related to non-compliance with the decree’s rules or that still do not appear on the REPUVE platform after its nationalization.
In both cases, he assured that individuals need to deal with the issue legally through a lawyer.
