Hardly any other celebrity has made as many headlines with his love life as Richard Lugner. And even after his death, things remain turbulent between his ex-wives.

On August 12, Richard Lugner died at the age of 91 – just a few weeks after his wedding to his sixth wife Simone, whom the entrepreneur affectionately called “Bienchen”. The couple had tied the knot at the beginning of June. Two and a half months later, the bride is a widow.

Instead of planning a shared future, Simone Lugner is now planning the funeral – and the guest list is attracting attention. Because not everyone who had a past with Richard Lugner is allowed to say goodbye to the property developer from Austria at the private funeral, as the daily newspaper “oe24” reports.

After the public event in St. Stephen’s Cathedral, there will be a private memorial service, but the guest list will be limited to 200 people. Richard Lugner probably decided who could come while he was still alive.

In addition to Simone Lugner, his most famous ex-wife Christina “Mausi” Lugner will also be there. His ex-girlfriends Nina “Bambi” Bruckner, Karin “Zebra” Karrer and Andrea “Goldfisch” Stylianou have also been invited.

According to “oe24”, women such as Bahati “Kolibri” Venus, Anastasia “Katzi” Sokol and Bettina “Hasi” Kofler have not received an invitation. However, they are allowed to say goodbye to their loved one in St. Stephen’s Cathedral. His fifth wife, Cathy “Spatzi” Lugner, who was married to the property developer for two years, is also not allowed to attend the private funeral.

The 34-year-old is disappointed about this. “I wrote several emails and asked for an opportunity to say goodbye in person,” she told the Austrian daily newspaper “krone.at”. “My wish will probably not be granted. I think it’s a shame that I, as an ex-wife, am not given the opportunity.” The couple separated in 2016 after two years of marriage.
