MILANO. It was not an accident with a hit-and-run driver that cost the life of Fabio Ravasio, a 52-year-old with a passion for cycling who was hit shortly before 8 pm on Via Vela in Parabiago, in the Milan area, on August 9th, but a real execution.
The Carabinieri of Legnano have in fact arrested, at the request of the Public Prosecutor of Busto Arsizio, six people on charges of murder after the car was also found with their confession. The black car, seen by some witnesses, first changed lane and then hit him head-on with a very violent impact that made him fall and then hit a guard rail damaging the bodywork and lights.
From the images, the Carabinieri found that the license plate of the car had been counterfeited. By checking the license plates associated with the black car, the investigators found that it was registered to a person who knew Ravasio, a resident of Parabiago and known in the area among other things for his passion for cycling. From here, the investigations into his network of acquaintances began and the public prosecutor, who coordinated the Carabinieri of the Legnano company, found “relevant elements” that the death of the fifty-two-year-old was not due to a road accident but to a collision made on purpose by the driver of the car.
Called to the Prosecutor’s Office, some people defined as “of investigative importance” confessed yesterday evening explaining their responsibilities and that of the others, indicating the role that each one had and also the “patrimonial purpose” and indicated where to find the car that was hidden in the garage of one of them. The six arrested were taken to prison in Busto Arsizio.
