BIAR. The merchant Hive Energy has modified the project of his photovoltaic plant in Biar to obtain the approval of the Consell for the implementation of the 50 MW, after the requirements received from the Territorial Management Service. The consolidated project, which includes the technical modifications, indicates that, although the installed power is the same (49.9 MW), the peak power has increased slightly, being previously 53.3 MWp and now 54.6 MWp . The ‘PSF Beneixama Hive’ – which is what the plant is called – amounts to 22 million euros (specifically, 22,001,074 euros) and the execution period is thirteen months.
The facilities will occupy an area of 81.23 hectares distributed in 34 installments, which has also meant a change with respect to the previous project, which provided for more hectares (82.76 hectares) with a smaller number of plots (25). For its part, the plant will be made up of 87,453 photovoltaic panels.
According to the documentation displayed on the website of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana, Hive Energy – through its subsidiary – states that “the Beneixama Hive PSF was approved with more unfavorable conditions, so the new “proposal – which improves the one approved – should not require a new report from the departments involved.”
