Proven global level energy management system
Expanding certification to other workplaces, including Osong and Icheon
HK inno.en acquires 6 international standards including environmental management
HK inno.N announced on the 19th that its large and small business sites located in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do have obtained the international standard for energy management, ‘ISO50001’ certification.
ISO50001 is an international standard for energy management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is a system that evaluates and certifies whether a company has established a systematic energy management system with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency. After obtaining initial certification, a post-evaluation of system maintenance is conducted annually.
HK inno.N received this certification after receiving high evaluations in areas such as establishing a carbon neutral roadmap, managing energy saving performance, and investing in energy-efficient facilities, with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It is expected that by obtaining the certification, it will be able to further improve or maintain the effects of strengthening environmental management, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and optimizing energy use.
In the case of HK inno.N, we have been pursuing international standard certification since 2019. We first acquired ISO14001 for the environmental management system, ISO37001 for the anti-corruption management system, ISO37301 for the normative compliance management system, ISO45001 for the occupational health and safety management system, and ISO27001 for the information security management system, and have secured a total of six certifications including this one.
An official from HK inno.N said, “Through ISO 50001 certification, we have proven our global-level energy management system,” and added, “Starting with large and small business sites, we will expand the certification to other business sites such as Osong and Icheon, and actively strengthen ESG management.”
