HM the King has established Morocco as a “major economic player” in Africa (Sierra Leonean minister)

Freetown – The strategic vision and leadership of HM King Mohammed VI have played a crucial role in positioning Morocco as a leading economic player on the African continent, said Sierra Leonean Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs, Amara Kallon.

In a statement to MAP on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI, Mr. Kallon indicated that the rise of Morocco’s investments and economic partnerships across the African continent, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, is considered a “manifestation of the continent’s confidence in its own capacities and its own potential”, specifying that the Kingdom’s investments contribute to the diversification and growth of African economies.

Morocco’s “proactive approach” to investment in Africa “embodies the spirit of pan-African solidarity,” he said.

He further noted that the accession of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors in 1999 marked the beginning of a period of “significant transformation” for Morocco, in the sense that emphasis was placed on both economic development and social reforms, with the aim of modernizing the country and improving the quality of life of its citizens.
