St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, February 11, 2026 — Hockey coaches looking to sharpen their skills have a final opportunity this season to participate in a Coach 2 in-class clinic, offering a boost to qualifications and on-ice knowledge. This is the last Coach 2 clinic scheduled for this area of Newfoundland and Labrador for the 2025-26 season.

A final Coach 2 clinic is being offered in St. John’s, providing a valuable opportunity for hockey coaches to enhance their expertise.
- The clinic will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (NST).
- The location is the DF Barnes Arena, at 244 B Pennywell Road, St. John’s, NL A1C 2L6.
- The cost to attend is $20.00.
- Coaches must meet specific prerequisites related to Hockey Canada coaching programs.
The clinic’s agenda includes a four-hour in-class session from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by an hour of on-ice training from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What qualifications do I need to attend? Coaches must have completed one of the following programs: Coach – Hockey Canada Coaching Program – Coach 2 – U11, Coach – Hockey Canada Coaching Program – Coach 2 – U13, or Coach – Hockey Canada Coaching Program – Coach 2 – U15/18. Participants must also be at least 18 years of age.
Coaches are asked to print off the Coach 2 Workbook prior to the clinic, which can be found here. Don’t forget to bring a pen, paper, and your on-ice gear!
