Holcim México appoints Christian Dedeu as new CEO

The leading firm in construction Holcim Mexico appointed Christian Dedeu as the new director of Mexico (CEO).

“Christian, who until today successfully held the same position at Holcim Argentina, will take on this new challenge immediately, succeeding Jaime Hill, who will leave the region to take up the position of Region Head of North America at Holcim,” the firm explained.

Christian Dedeu is an Argentine national who graduated in Economics from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires and holds an MBA from the IAE Business School. He began his career in a renowned company in the oil and petrochemical industry, where he acquired solid experience in commercial and strategy areas. Since joining Holcim Argentina in 2007, he has demonstrated outstanding leadership that has led him to occupy key roles in the company, both in Argentina and at a regional level.

In 2011, Christian moved to Costa Rica, where he assumed various leadership positions, including Channel Management Manager, Retail Manager and Commercial Director for the Central American region.

Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth in retail channel profitability and loyalty, driving the commercial transformation of the Central American cluster.
