Holding Journalism Training, KNPI Wants Youth’s Hard and Soft Skills to Develop

jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (DPP KNPI) held a Journalism training for all groups at the Pondok Rangi Coffee Shop, Percetakan Negara, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Friday (9/2024).

Through the “Aku Bisa” program, the DPP KNPI under the leadership of Putri Khairunnisa wants to focus on developing the hard skills and soft skills of Indonesian youth.

During the training, a number of young people were seen attending, representing the general chairs of youth community organizations (OKP), mass organizations, and student organizations (Ormawa).

Chairman of the KNPI Journalism Training Committee, Rudi Suherman, said that around 70 participants registered from various youth organizations including the journalism community.

“The participants are from various youth organizations, there are also communities, and various campuses in Jakarta and student organizations. Also present were representatives of Peradi, PKC PMII Jakarta, PP Hikmahbudhi,” said Rudi.

The journalism training includes material on the basics of journalism, journalistic work mechanisms, interview techniques, and writing news scripts.

The General Chairperson of the DPP KNPI, Putri Khairunnisa, opened the event and expressed her appreciation for the participation from various groups.

“We are happy for all elements of youth, both from OKP, Ormas, and Ormawa to get to know and be trained to become quality journalists,” he said.
