jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has a large mandate in preparing the community to be able to compete in the job market.
This great mandate is realized, among other things, through the Vocational Education and Training Festival which is part of the 2024 Ministry of Manpower Naker Fest event.
“The Vocational Education and Training Festival aims to promote various professions and provide insight into career opportunities in certain fields,” said Head of Public Relations Bureau Chairul Fadhly Harahap through the Press Release of the Ministry of Manpower’s Public Relations Bureau in a statement received, Tuesday (20/8).
Chairul said that at the Vocational Education and Training Festival, participants can visit various services and get information about training programs, internship opportunities from the Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP), educational institutions, professional organizations, LPKS, LPK, UPTP, and UPTD.
Various expertise competitions are presented, such as engineering, design, culinary, and beauty at the Vocational Education and Training Festival.
“By having a field of expertise competition, it provides an opportunity for participants to practice their skills directly,” explained Chairul.
Chairul hopes that the Vocational Training and Training Festival activities at Naker Fest will be able to broaden participants’ horizons about the various job options available outside the formal pathway.
“I hope that through the Vocational Training Festival, participants will gain useful information and inspire them to pursue careers that suit their interests and talents,” said Chairul. (mrk/jpnn)
