jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Traffic Directorate (Dilantas) of the Metro Jaya Police will hold the 2024 compliant jaya operation starting Monday (15/7).

A total of 2,938 joint personnel spread across Jakarta and its surroundings will be deployed during the operation.

“The total number of joint personnel for Operation Patuh Jaya is 2,938,” said the Director of Traffic for the Metro Jaya Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Latif Usman in a written statement received in Jakarta, Sunday (14/7).

Latif explained that before carrying out Operation Patuh Jaya 2024, all personnel in the ranks of the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate carried out a morning roll call at 06.00 WIB and an afternoon roll call at 13.30 WIB.

Meanwhile, in a post on the official account of the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate, @tmcpoldametro, it was stated that there were 14 targets for Operation Patuh Jaya in 2024.

The targets of the operation include going against the flow of traffic, driving under the influence of alcohol, using a mobile phone (cell phone) while driving, exceeding the speed limit, underage driving (not having a driving license) and issuing illegal parking.

Furthermore, not equipped with standard equipment, not equipped with STNK, violating road markings or shoulders, vehicles that install rotators or sirens that do not comply with regulations, and controlling vehicles that use fake number plates.

Then, the target for two-wheeled motor vehicles is those not using Indonesian National Standard (SNI) helmets and carrying more than one person.
