The 2022 summer season promises to be a good year for camping professionals. Admittedly, seasonal workers are still missing, but the sites are preparing despite everything with renovations in particular, as well as a move upmarket. Report in La Tranche-sur-Mer, in Vendée.

In La Tranche-sur-Mer (Vendee)the Aunis Club Vendée campsite is carrying out multiple works to be ready for the arrival of holidaymakers at the beginning of July. In the midst of the 22 campsites in the town, the establishment run by Romain Jean won its fourth star this year. The campsite has 505 pitches, with a capacity of 1,800 people.

“The last two years with the Covid, we have recovered a lot of vacation club customers, who went abroad beforehand, and who we are now managing to recover in our sites in France”explains Romain Jean. Big news this year: premium space. A concept copied from holiday clubs, with, for example, luxury mobile homes. Mobile homes that cost up to 1,600 euros per week, jacuzzi included. The campsite is thus seeking to attract new customers by offering ever more comfort, activities and entertainment.
