Kuwait City: Kuwait will have a holiday from February 23 to 27 next year, local media reported. This number of days off is inclusive of Independence Day, Emancipation Day, Isra’-Miraj anniversary and weekend leave. Holiday will be from Thursday to Monday.
The Isra’ – Mi’aj anniversary and holiday is actually on February 18. But every year, the Isra’-Mi’aj holiday, if it falls between two working days, the Cabinet’s directive to move it to the next Thursday is in force in Kuwait. Because of this, instead of Saturday, February 18, the Isra’-Mi’aj holiday will be Thursday, February 23.
Thursday, February 23rd to Monday, February 27th will be a holiday. The official working day will resume on Tuesday, February 28 after the holidays. Meanwhile, Kuwait will have a three-day holiday for New Year. The holiday will be on December 30, 31 and January 1. After the holiday, working days will resume on February 2.

Sultan’s order announcing public holidays in Oman; Applies to private sector as well
Muscat: Ruler Sultan Haitham bin Tariq has issued an order declaring official holidays in Oman. The Government of Oman, in Decree No. 88/2022, sets out the public and private sector public holidays.
These are the holidays by order of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq
1. Beginning of Hijra New Year (Arabic month of Muharram – 1)
2. The Prophet’s Day (Arabic month Rabi’ul Awwal – 12)
3. Isra’ Mi’aj (Arabic month Rajab 27)
4. National Day (November 18 – 19)
5. The day the sultan took over the kingdom (January 11)
6. Short Feast (29th of Ramadan to 3rd of Shawwal)
7. The Feast of Sacrifice (Ninth to Twelfth of the Arabic Month of Dhul Hajj)
