Erling Haaland’s goal chase continues in the English Premier League. He scored a hat-trick for Manchester City against Wolverhampton Wanderers. This is the fourth hat-trick in the 19th match of the league. The twenty-two-year-old scored a total of 25 goals in the season. City beat Wolves (3–-0) thanks to the Norwegian’s brilliance.
Holland is the first player in league history to score four hat-tricks in such a short game. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record was broken. It took the Dutchman 65 games for Manchester United to reach four hat-tricks. Holland netted three times in 14 minutes against Wolves. One was through penalty. With 18 games remaining, Holland is on the verge of breaking all goalscoring records. City are second with 45 points from 20 games.
Newcastle United have completed 15 matches unbeaten in the Premier League. This achievement is the first in the club’s 130-year history.
