Practically from start to finish, the fight had fans on their feet at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).

The fight started with less action than expected. Both Gaethje and Holloway seemed afraid of the opponent’s firepower and few spaces were given.
In the last second of the round, however, Max landed a beautiful round kick to Justin’s face and injured the American’s nose.
The second round was marked by two pokes in the eye that Holloway gave Gaethje and caused the fight to be stopped for almost a minute in total. Furthermore, Max put together a good sequence in the last seconds and raised the crowd at the T-Mobile Arena.
The third started slower, but caught fire from the second half onwards. Holloway showed all his boxing quality and managed to land some beautiful blows, as well as a second round kick. Gaethje tried to respond in the final stretch and the round became more balanced.
Insanity was the definition of the room. The two continued exchanging many blows at a fast pace, and Justin almost finished the fight. After landing a beautiful uppercut, he went up and rocked Holloway, but Max held on and survived.
With an electric T-Mobile, the two returned even more accelerated to the decisive round and Holloway almost took down Gaethje with a beautiful sequence of punches, but the BMF holder showed why he owns the title and survived.
When everything seemed to be heading towards the judges’ decision, Holloway landed a beautiful cross and erased Gaetjhe in the final second of the fight.
