Among the films that make me go see them at the cinema this year is Dune: part two, and the list is not particularly long. There’s a lot of crap coming out, and with the exception of Oppenheimer o Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse There haven’t been too many interesting premieres so far this year. But now I will have to wait until next year to see it in the cinema because Warner has decided to delay its release until March 15, 2024, a day more or less depending on the country.

The original release date was going to be in November. The reason for the delay is the current strikes by writers and actors, since Legendary Entertainment and Warner would not have the actors of the film to carry out the promotional tour, which would apparently limit box office revenue. Both want to have maximum profitability in their theatrical release before reaching the video-on-demand circuit.

Other movies have also been delayed like Godzilla x Kong: The New Empirewhich goes to April 12, and The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohírrimwhich goes to December 13, to make room for Dune: part two.
