The Saudi government says 10 million people, including locals, will be allowed to take part in this year’s Mecca Hajj pilgrimage.
Due to the spread of the Corona epidemic, only 1,000 domestic pilgrims were allowed to perform the Hajj in 2020. Following that, up to 60,000 indigenous people who had fully paid for the corona vaccine by 2021 were selected and approved in batches.
A statement from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj said, “It has been decided to allow 10 lakh pilgrims, including locals, to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year.
