The funeral for his eternal rest will be held this Friday at noon and will be presided over by the Archbishop of Zaragoza, Mons. Carlos Escribano. At 5 p.m., a farewell ceremony will take place in the parish of the Santa Isabel neighborhood.
Upon hearing the news, the Brotherhood of Humility has expressed on social networks their “deepest condolences and support to his entire family,” and have announced the celebration of a Eucharist for his eternal rest this Thursday. “May the Humility of God and the Sweetness of Mary shelter you in Heaven. Rest in peace. We will never forget you, Javi. Take care of us in Glory,” they say.
In addition to his pastoral work, the deceased priest was known for being a “rock priest” due to his love of music that led him to record three albums and perform numerous concerts in Spain and abroad.
