Doha: England striker Raheem Sterling, who returned home after his home was attacked, will return to Qatar soon. Gold.com reports that the star will join up with the England squad ahead of Saturday’s quarter-final against France. The Chelsea star has returned home temporarily and Sterling is expected to arrive in Doha on Friday, the Football Association said in a news release.

The star, who played in the starting XI in England’s first two group matches, was moved to the bench for the match against Wales. It was after this that the England team announced that the player had returned home. The initial information was that Sterling was returning home for family reasons. But after the family house was attacked, reports surfaced that the actor returned home quickly.
