Murukesan (32) and Vishnu (28) were arrested in Mulakupara, Kailasam, in the case of breaking into the house of Kallanikal Sena, a native of Kailasam, attacking Senan’s wife Leela and son Akhil and smashing the house. The attack took place at 1 am on Thursday. Senan’s daughter got married last month.

The police said that the attack was carried out in the middle of the night because Murukesan and Vishnu were not invited to the wedding. The brothers Murukesan and Vishnu, who asked the reason for not inviting the young woman to her wedding, broke the window and the door of the house. Senan has suffered a stroke and is in bed.

When Leela tries to attack Akhil, she gets in the way. With this, Leela was also beaten up. Leela and Akhil were taken to Nedunkandam Taluk Hospital by the neighbors. The accused were detained by the locals. The police team got the information and took both of them into custody. The accused who were produced in the court were remanded. A team comprising Udumbanchola SHO Abdul Khani, ASI Benny and CPO Tony arrested the accused.
