New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Activa H-Smart scooter in the Indian two-wheeler market. It is reported that this scooter will be available in the market in three variants.
It is the Indian subsidiary of Honda, headquartered in Japan. The manufacturing plant is located in four states of India namely Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Gujarat. From here the company manufactures motorcycles and scooters and sells them all over India. Sports bike manufacturing is also being looked after.
Activa scooter is its product which has attracted a lot of people. Honda has now introduced the new Activa with H-Smart technology.
It is available in three variants Standard, Deluxe and Smart. The scooter is priced at Rs 74,536, Rs 77,036 and Rs 80,537 ex-showroom respectively. It is also reported to have 5 patented new technology applications.
This scooter also features Smart-Key. It is reported that the scooter can be locked and unlocked by remote control of the key just like a car. It is reported that the engine can be switched on and off within 2 meters of the scooter.
110cc PGM-FI engine, new design alloy wheel, DC LED headlamp, front telescopic suspension and adjustable rear suspension are reported.
